Abstract: 

Attar’ s Manteq Al-Tair is a magnificent masterpiece in mystical literature that through presenting the most essential ontological issues invites humans to contemplate them. This interdisciplinary study seeks to analyze the journey in parallel universes in Manteq Al-Tair based on the principles of quantum physics to achieve a rational plan for responding to the paradoxes of this literary work; since in quantum mechanics actualizing all probabilities and paradoxes is feasible. According to the findings, Attar is in search of an exact twin of his own (Simorgh) in another world by creating such a story. In view of the contradiction in time travel, the starting part of the journey is based on the hypothesis of “ compatible dates” and the final part of the journey is based on “ periodic dates” . The mirror symbolizes the “ Wormholes” (launching platform to the parallel world) and “ Mount Ghaf” , like the “ event horizon” , is a passageway to enter other life dimensions along the borderline between this world and the parallel world. In addition, there is a structural palindrome among them and Nur Alnur can also be a factor for launching forwards into a parallel universe. Attar intends to reach the truth of universe by attaining integrity and completeness. Einstein also intends to read God’ s mind through integrity theory. However, both Attar and physicists believe that one cannot enter parallel worlds by the existing knowledge.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Transportation has long been a special place in the economy of Iran and has already had a special position in economic, production and services systems. According to the Central Bank of Iran's statistics, about 13. 6 percent of the national income of the country is related to the transport and warehousing sector and about 9 percent of it, belongs to the transport sector. In the past decade, with an average growth of 14. 5%, the share of transportation sector has been one of the most important components of economic growth. However, long-standing issues such as the lack of utilization of all fleet capacity and lack of knowledge about optimal distribution routes have caused overhead transportation costs to be off sized by the profits of company’ s activities in the distribution sector as well as by manufacturers. Hence, researchers have always sought solutions to improve the transportation routes and eliminate these additional costs. One of the most important issues in the field of transportation, which is highly considered, is the Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) issue. The most prominent types of VRP issues is, the carrying goods problem which is limited by the goods delivery time. This issue is very common in carrying perishable goods. The most vital issue in carrying perishable goods such as protein products, is to maintain its quality along the route, which is important in addition to the economic overview in terms of maintaining food safety. Tehran with population around 8293140, is one of the populated city among 25 cities in the world, which has got most important role to study in this issue. The major part of the protein which is consumed by the citizens of Tehran is poultry meat. In Tehran, about 10% of the physical distribution of poultry meat is made by the grocery section of municipality of Tehran. It is distributed through 141 retail markets, which are supplied by two central warehouses. Accordingly, in the present study, with an examination of the existing transport structure, we will present an optimal pattern for distributing daily chicken meat in Tehran's retail markets. Materials and Methods: The VRP refers to a set of issues in which a number of vehicles concentrated in one or more locations should go to a set of customers, each with a specific demand, to provide a service. For the VRP issue, a variety of different constraints are presented. But the limited-capacity vehicle routing (CVRP) is a major example of vehicle routing, in which all customers have the same delivery limited area and specified demand. In the above question, the goal is to minimize the linear composition of the number of paths, the length of the routes or the travel time, so that more convenient and less costly customer service can be provided. In order to solve the transport problem, two parallel world algorithms and a definite algorithm is used. Then, the algorithms are compared. For this purpose, according to the data of the year 92 of the chicken distribution network in Tehran, a model was made by considering two chicken distribution depots as well as 141 poultry meat market. Results and Discussion: The comparison of the answer to the meta-exploratory algorithm is used, and the answer from the definitive methods indicates that the solutions provided by definite methods are superior to the proposed meta-exploratory algorithm and this excellence has come at the expense of using more time. Increasing the execution time of the meta-exploratory algorithm results in the closeness of the solution of the algorithm to the results of definite algorithms. Also, the results showed that the best answer based on definite algorithms was 40231. 6 million Rials, which after 36, 000 seconds this answer was obtained and during different times, this answer has dramatically improved. Through the algorithm of parallel universes, although the optimal answer is different from the optimal solution of definitive methods (There is only 5. 26% difference in results), at the beginning of the problem solution, almost the optimal answer has been obtained, and the longer solving time has not changed much in cost reduction. In addition, by comparing the results of the existing conditions and the optimal transport model, it can be seen that, transportation costs in existing conditions are 2. 33 and 2. 14 times more than two definitive routing algorithms and parallel universes. Conclusions: Considering the evidence and research findings, based on the problem-solving time of VRP and the significance of costs, the Tehran municipality can apply the designed model based on parallel algorithm solving methods to improve the poultry meat transportation network. So if all markets in a comprehensive system declare their demand, then distribution of chicken meet can be optimized. It is recommended to create an intelligent system for recording and tracking market orders, for better implementation of the desired transport pattern.

Abstract: 

The plot of some narratives is structured in a way that it can encapsulate paradoxical and opposite states. Conceptualization of these kinds of narratives based on classic cosmology to which most of us are accustomed is not possible; another cosmology such as quantum cosmology, however, might be helpful. The text can be interpreted through “multiverse theory, ” because in this cosmological framework of quantum mechanics the conjoining of the opposite states is possible. This article is an interdisciplinary attempt to analyze different kinds of the so-called “multiverse narratives.” The major question of this article is to explore the relationship between the notion of parallel universes in physics and narrative semantics. My purpose is to find out the function of the notion of parallel worlds in narrative semantics. Thus, I argue that various sorts of multiverse narratives invite the reader to reflect on the nature of space, time, identity, and memory by challenging the boundary between actual and virtual world.

Abstract: 

To tackle the problem with inexact, uncertainty and vague knowledge, constructive method is utilized to formulate lower and upper approximation sets. Rough set model over dual-universes in fuzzy approximation space is constructed. In this paper, we introduce the concept of rough set over dual-universes in fuzzy approximation space by means of cut set. Then, we discuss properties of rough set over dual-universes in fuzzy approximation space from two viewpoints: approximation operators and cut set of fuzzy set. Reduction of attributes and rules extraction of rough set over dual-universes in fuzzy approximation space are presented. Finally, an example of disease diagnoses expert system illustrates the possibility and eciency of rough set over dual-universes in fuzzy approximation space.

Abstract: 

This article introduces a general framework of multi-granulation fuzzy probabilistic rough sets (MG-FPRSs) models in multi-granulation fuzzy probabilistic approximation space over two universes. Four types of MG-FPRSs are established, by the four different conditional probabilities of fuzzy event. For different constraints on parameters, we obtain four kinds of each type MG-FPRSs over two universes. To find a suitable way of explaining and determining these parameters in each kind of each type MG-FPRS, three-way decisions (3WDs) are studied based on Bayesian minimum-risk procedure, i. e., the decision-theoretic rough set (DTRS) approach. The main contribution of this paper is twofold. One is to extend the fuzzy probabilistic rough set (FPRS) to MG-FPRS model over two universes. Another is to present an approach to select parameters in MG-FPRS modeling by using the process of decision-making under conditions of risk.

Abstract: 

At first glance, it seems that we can find similarities between the possible worlds proposed by Lewis and the theory of parallel worlds in physics. Both of these theories point to the possibility of the existence of worlds other than the one we live in. After Everett's theory, physicists’ attention was drawn to the notions of the multiverse and parallel universes. Parallel worlds are one of the theories that scientists and researchers in the field of physics are interested in. David Lewis, relying on physicalism and modal realism, is one of the supporters of the theory of possible worlds. In this paper, the foundations of the two theories are explained using the analytical-descriptive method, and then, using the comparative method, Lewis's possible worlds theory and parallel worlds are scrutinized. Both theories accept the existence of other worlds. Lewis's theory has six main features: 1- the existence and reality of possible worlds; 2- the absence of a causal relationship between possible worlds; 3- the similarity of possible worlds to our world and the difference in the content of possible worlds; 4- the impossibility of reducing possible worlds; 5- indexical reality; and 6- the space-time unity of branches in a world and incoherency in time-space relations among worlds. The results of this research show that if parallel universes are confirmed as a scientific fact, then the second, third, and sixth features of Lewis's theory may conflict with physical reality. If there is a contradiction due to the fundamental nature of these features, Lewis's theory of possible worlds will suffer a lot.

Abstract: 

در این تحقیق به منظور انتخاب بهترین الگوریتم برای طبقه بندی تصاویر ETM+ ماهواره لندست و تهیه نقشه جنگل در جنگل های آرمرده بانه سه الگوریتم Minimum Distance،  Maximum Liklihoodو Parallel epiped مورد بررسی قرار گرفتند. در این تحقیق از نسبت گیری های طیفی استفاده و باندهای مصنوعی مختلفی تهیه شدند. سپس مجموعه های باندی بدست آمده با استفاده از 3 الگوریتم ذکر شده طبقه بندی شدند. پس از عمل طبقه بندی به ارزیابی صحت نتایج با استفاده از ضریب های صحت کلی و ضریب کاپا، مقادیر صحت تولید کننده، صحت کاربر و خطای Ommission و Commission پرداخته شد. نتایج تحقیق نشان داد که الگوریتم Maximum Liklihood دارای بالاترین صحت برای طبقه بندی تصاویر ماهواره ای و تهیه نقشه جنگل می باشد.

Abstract: 

The medium of cinema, as a potent and influential art, consistently endeavors to present a more authentic representation of the narrative by intricately interweaving elements such as plot, characters, and scenes. This endeavor extends to the deliberate incorporation of explicit and implicit symbolism within the design and architecture of urban landscape. This research seeks to address: How does the description and placement of a location as a backdrop for narrative relate to the character development and thematic content in Marvel and DC cinematic productions? Specifically, this study aims to assess the alignment between prevalent architectural signifiers associated with superheroes and the thematic characterizations found in Marvel and DC films. This investigation aspires to decipher the underlying meanings and metaphors inherent in the concepts underpinning the design of residences and urban landscapes inhabited by superheroes. Production designers within the Marvel and DC film franchises deliberately craft diverse urban settings, with each showing emblematic of concepts such as gentrification and the physical and mental prowess of respective superheroes, often manifesting through variations in architectural styles, encompassing classical, high-tech, and bionic aesthetics. Notably, this architectural characteristic evolves in response to the narrative's temporal dimensions. Nevertheless, there remains a consistent thread of "mysterious architecture concealing hidden spaces and connections" and "precisely articulated juxtapositions beneath an ostensibly simplistic facade" recurring across the diverse residences featured in these cinematic worlds.

Abstract: 

In this paper, we study different methods of solving joint redundancy-availability optimization for series-parallel systems with multi-state components. We analyzed various effective factors on system availability in order to determine the optimum number and version of components in each sub-system and consider the effects of improving failure rates of each component in each sub-system and improving reliability of each sub-system. The target is to determine optimum values of all variables for improving the availability level and decreasing the total cost of the system. At first, the exact values of variables are determined using a mathematical model, then, the results of SAParallel, VDO-Parallel and genetic algorithms are compared with the exact solution.
